Jerinne has been dancing for almost her whole life. Ballet, modern, jazz, hip hop, swing,
salsa, she has danced them all. She has performed in numerous events including the
Uniquely Singapore launch and the International Indian Film Academy 2004
awards show held in Singapore. She has also performed and taught at many congresses overseas

Jerinne has been teaching dance since 1997. Her training and natural teaching ability makes her
a much respected teacher who is able to draw out the best in her students. She is also an
accomplished choreographer, having choreographed several items. She was the co-choreographer for
the winning choreography in the Her World Salsa Competition 2003.

Jason has been involved in Salsa since 2000, when he took his first class. He has not looked back
since. He has performed not only in Singapore but also at Salsa Congresses and Festivals overseas
including with his partner Jerinne, as can be seen in the list above.
Jason has been teaching Salsa since 2002. The years of experience shows. His classes are fun, yet
detailed, with the focus firmly on ensuring his students not only enjoy the class but also come
away with being able to dance. Together with Jerinne, he has also taught in many of festivals and
congresses overseas, as listed above.

douglas

|
The newest member of our teaching staff, Taipei-born Douglas, the son of a singer, artist, painter and
fashion designer, only developed his interest in the arts in his later teenage years.
With a background in percussion and drums, he started dancing LA Style Salsa under Lionel Araya in 2005.
He has since developed his own unique style of Salsa, infusing elements of Hip-Hop, Latin Ballroom and
Street Jazz.
He has attended and performed at Salsa festivals and congresses locally in Singapore and overseas such
as in the USA, Spain and Malaysia. More recently, he has trained under the 2-time Puerto Rico World
Salsa Champions Adrian y Anita in Barcelona, Spain.
Douglas believes that no matter one’s passion, occupation or background, one has not lived life if one
has not indulged in music and dance. To this end, he hopes to be able to share his knowledge and love of
dance and music with you and to help you along the path to the discover your own inner dancer!
